Singapore is adopting DVB-T standard, a DVB-T receiver can be used in any countries which is adopting the same standard as Singapore.
Q4. What are the channels which I can receive via a digital receiver?
You can receive Channel 8, Channel 5 , TVMobile and CNA channels in Singapore.
Q5. What is the difference between Single and Dual Tuner Receiver?
We recommend a single tuner receiver for home usage. If you are installing in a vehicle, a dual tuner receiver will provide you with a clearer picture quality and lesser interference while on the move.
Q6. Why is it that I've encountered weak signal or no signal in certain part of the Island and indoor?
Signal is weak if you are indoor, therefore, we advise that you should place the antenna near to the window. As such , eastern part of Singapore such as Katong, East Coast, Changi, Pasir Ris and Sengkang will encounter weak signal since they are situated far from the transmission station. Sometimes, signal will also be blocked by tall buildings. However, such problem will be resolved when our Digital Broadcasting Network is fully mature with
a wider coverage. You can

Programmes are Free-To-Air (FTA).
